Show Your Patriotism!
Don't forget to fly your flag on Independence Day!!!

Volunteers are Needed for July 4th: Make your holiday extra special by joining your neighbors to help this special day happen. Call Anne or Becky at the I’On Trust (881-7541).

Holiday Schedule:

9:30 AM: I’On on Parade
Starts near the Fountain at Perseverance Park and proceeds to I’On Square. Dress up your kids, dogs, golf carts, wagons, bikes or scooters. Prizes offered for the best decorations. 

The PrecisI’On Drill Team and the Washboard Band encourage other teams or floats to join the parade in "fools fashion."  

10:00 AM: Salute on the Square
Celebrate our country’s birthday as young kids recite the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by bigger kids (of all ages) reciting an Independence Day Tribute.    

6 – 9:00 PM:  Band Blast 2007!
Heart and Soul in concert (classic rock, Motown, beach music, etc.) at the Westkake Amphitheater — fun for children and adults. Gates open at 5 PM.

Food and beverages available from vendors (see below). Picnics, coolers, lawn chairs, blankets, and tents welcome.

Tickets: $5 in advance at I'On Realty (159 Civitas Street in Mt. Pleasant) beginning June 18; $8 at the gate; (I’On Trust members may use their Trust Bucks); free to kids 10 and under.

Food and Beverage Vendors - Grazi's (wine), Mr. Koolie (ice cream), O'Brion's (beer), Shane's Barbeque (barbeque sandwiches, soft drinks, and water)
